This is completely dependent on how long you want Mahir there for and the purpose! If it’s for ice-breaking, usually 1–2 hours is sufficient, whereas longer EOY corporate parties or gala dinners may demand 2–4 hours to account for latecomers and larger crowd sizes. It also depends on whether you are interested in roving magic (group-to-group/table-to-table), a stage show, or a mix of both. Yes! Mahir’s magic has taken him across all states in Australia and he is more than willing to work with you on travel arrangements with your event. The usual arrangement is that interstate travel and accommodation is covered by the client, just let him know where you’re based via the booking form below and we’ll take the conversation from there.
Mahir’s calendar usually fills up quite fast, particularly during the EOY period. That said, he can often take a few last-minute bookings depending on the location, timing and type of event. A deposit secures your date, with the outstanding amount due closer to the event. So even if you’re even briefly contemplating having magic, the best thing to do right now is contact Mahir ASAP with a quick call or email, he’ll happily talk you through what to expect, answer any questions, and hopefully get some magic locked in!
